Amanda Millward is an adjunct professor of English and Communications at SUNY Delhi in
Delhi, New York. She has earned a graduate certificate in Professional Writing and Rhetoric and
a Master’s in Education from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Additionally, she
earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Writing from Ithaca College. With her academic background in
writing and education, she research interest includes activity theory in writing, working across
the curriculum, kinesthetic learning. She is currently attending SUNY Brockport to earn a
Master’s in English concentrating in Literature and Creative Writing. When she is not teaching,
Amanda writes for local magazines and is working on her first novel.
